HELLO!
I have spent my entire life creating!
I was born to be creative - its part of my soul!
WHEN I WAS 7, WOODBLOCKS BECAME ELABORATE CITIES FOR MY MATCHBOX CARS.
At 12, my mom would take me to volunteer at the local quilt shows; I would stand behind the red rope and talk about the history of the quilt, the pattern and if it was sewn by hand or machine. In high school, my dad and I would make ridicules wooden duck door chimes – in between changing the breaks or spark plugs in the car.
Then, at 16 my world changed when I picked up my first camera!!
In college, I was the newspaper photo editor, I also worked for Wolf Camera selling cameras. Upon graduating with a photography degree, I managed the first portrait studio for Wolf Camera.
In my late 20s I carried walls, set up lights, built floors for commercial photographers around Atlanta. In my 30s I worked for Turner Broadcasting working on a wide range of projects from scanning film, metadata, on-site event processing, photo restorations, retouching, color corrections, event & gallery photography, event, exhibit & print design, project management and vendor management.
Today, in my 40s I'm going back to my love - photographing! I love talking to people, being part of events trying to capture genuine smiles and happiness!
